Almoner Fund

The Scottish Rite has dedicated itself to a core value of our Craft – Masons caring for Masons.  Brothers caring for Brothers.  Friends caring for families.

“We will strive to be a fraternity that fulfills our Masonic obligation to care for our members, their widows and orphans.”

Your support of the Almoner’s Fund insures that, together, we fulfill our highest calling.  As Freemasons, helping others is in our DNA.

White Flower Society

The White Flower Society is a fund dedicated to helping Masonic widows in need. Women form strong bonds of friendship and support through Freemasonry, and this fund will assist those who are particularly vulnerable and in need of support.

“It is our sincere hope that the widows of our members remember the most important thing; you are not forgotten.”

You have been and will always be a part of our Masonic Family and we are here for you.

Children's Dyslexia Center - CT

The Children’s Dyslexia Centers are nationally recognized for their dyslexia tutoring locations that provide intensive reading instruction for children in grades 1 – 12.  We are a dedicated organization of people who believe every child should have access to high-quality reading and writing instruction.

“When we give children an opportunity to reach their potential, we invest in their future and the future of our world.  We’re helping children to successfully meet the literacy demands in school and their future careers”

Thanks to the support and dedication of people just like you, we now have 3 locations here in Connecticut:  The Waterbury Campus; The Bridgeport Satellite; The Hartford Area Satellite.

Leon M. Abbott Scholarship Fund

One of Freemasonry’s fundamental principles is a belief in the importance of the educated mind. Freedom, understanding, and brotherhood are dependent upon our ability to reason effectively.

“This is why the Scottish Rite have long been committed to fostering the value of education.”

The Abbott Scholarship Program provides financial support towards the continuing undergraduate and graduate education of Scottish Rite Masons, young men and women from Scottish Rite families, and Masonic-related youth groups.

Scottish Rite Museum & Library

Established in 1975 by the Scottish Rite Freemasons of the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, the Scottish Rite Masonic Museum & Library tells the story of Freemasonry and fraternalism in the context of American history.

Unique in the nation, the Museum aims to be the “historical society” of American Freemasonry by collecting, preserving, interpreting and celebrating the history of fraternalism.

By donating, you support our ongoing mission: To engage and inspire, through our exhibitions, programs, and collections, a knowledge and appreciation of America’s history, heritage, culture, and traditions with a special focus on Freemasonry, and fraternalism.
