 Valley Summer Picnic, June 11, 4 p.m.,

Location: Valley of Hartford, 207 Deming Street, Newington, CT
This year’s Summer Picnic will be held on Sunday June 11, from 4-7 p.m.  This Family Life Event has been well received the past two years, and we hope to see even more participation this year.  Please pass the word, invite your friends, and help make this year the best yet.  And especially feel free to invite your Masonic friends who are not yet AASR members – what a great opportunity for them to meet us and take part in our fellowship.
Please RSVP to sect@snet.net or call the office at (860) 666-0712 to let us know how many will be in your party, and if any of them are Valley of Hartford scholarship recipients.
All food and beverages (Hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, desserts, water and soda) will be provided, but please bring your favorite side dish (No Desserts please) to share.  Bringing your own lawn chairs might come in handy.
For this year’s entertainment there will be a magician providing magical entertainment and  DJ Bob will be providing Karaoke (40’s to current) and background music.  Face-painting will also be provided for both the children and young at heart and we’ll have select lawn games to play. And the recipients of this year’s scholarships will be presented with their scholarships.

We can also use your help: would you consider helping us either set-up, tear-down, cook, or manage the food tables? Set-up help is needed at 2 p.m. Tear-down help is needed immediately following the event.  Contact Frank Dlugoleski at (860) 518-7410 to let him know you’d like to volunteer.
